Juno Host Committee Salutes Sponsors

Community Support Helps Halifax Play Hard!

HALIFAX, March 29, 2006 — With the Juno Awards set to rock Halifax this weekend, Nova Scotia is poised to bask in the international spotlight, as entertainers like Pamela Anderson, Coldplay, Nickelback, Black Eyed Peas and Bryan Adams make their way to the Halifax Metro Centre for Sunday night's gala awards show broadcast on CTV.

But setting the stage for an event of this magnitude has been a collaborative effort, and host committee Halifax Play Hard is acknowledging the support of the community, and the dedication of many sponsors for their help in transforming months of planning in to reality.

Event manager Andree Gracie said the goal of Halifax Play Hard and its various event sponsors has always been the same. "We all share the belief that our region is one that can entertain world class events such as the 2006 JUNO Awards. Once again the corporate community has proven its dedication and we would like to say thank you to all of our sponsors for enabling us to showcase Halifax through our exciting Play Hard celebration of pageantry, music and hospitality."
