CBC RADIO TO HOST SIX LIVE BROADCASTS
AND THE SONGWRITERS CIRCLE FROM
HALIFAX DURING JUNO WEEKEND

CBC Radio will have an exciting line-up of network programs broadcasting live from Halifax during Juno weekend. Tune in to CBC Radio on Friday, March 31st to Sunday April 2nd to hear the very best in Canadian music.

Or be a part of our audience – admission is free to all CBC live broadcasts (except the Songwriters Circle) and it’s first come, first served at the door. Suggested donation to the Halifax Play Hard Music in Schools program in Nova Scotia.

Live from the Commons Room at the Holiday Inn Select in Halifax, CBC Radio kicks off the weekend of special programming with two live shows on Friday and four live shows on Saturday. On Sunday, April 2nd, CBC Radio will also broadcast the Juno Songwriters Circle live to audiences across the country.

Friday, March 31

Fuse with Amanda Putz – 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Featuring: Elliot Brood

After Hours with Andy Sheppard – 10 pm to midnight
Featuring: Hilario Duran (Piano), Sophie Milman (Vocals), Duane Andrews (Guitar), Jane Bunnett and Larry Cramer (Sax & Trumpet).

Saturday, April 1

Weekender with Peter Togni – 8 am to 10 am
Featuring: Denise Djokic and David Jalbert, David Buchbinder with Hiliaro Duran and Mark Rogers, and Aplha Yaya Diallo.

Definitely Not the Opera with Sook-Yin Lee – noon to 2 pm
Featuring: Bedouin Soundclash, and Colin Linden

Saturday Night Blues with Holger Petersen – 4 pm to 6 pm

Featuring: Morgan Davis, Garrett Mason, Dutch Mason, Julian Fauth, Paul Reddick with Colin Linden, and The Perpetrators

Fuse with Amanda Putz – 8 pm to 9:30 pm
Featuring: Mary Jane Lamond & MIR

Don’t forget to tune in to regular CBC Radio programs in the Maritimes for an inside look at the Junos including: Information Morning and Mainstreet to hear conversations with musicians and industry insiders, Maritime Arts Reporter Phlis McGregor will bring you the latest buzz from Juno weekend through a series of regular reports, and Musically Yours will feature a special Juno edition focusing on Atlantic Canadian nominees.
