exciting artists have been confirmed to take part in this year’s
Juno Fan Fare, presented by McDonald’s.
Joining
the already star-studded Juno Fan Fare line-up
are 2006 JUNO Award nominees: reggae/punk fusionists Bedouin
Soundclash; pop sensation Skye Sweetnam and
country-rockers The Road Hammers. Nova Scotia’s
own Matt Mays & El Torpedo are also slated
to sign autographs for fans. JUNO nominated DJ’s
Hatiras and Macca will be spinning live
at the event, keeping the energy high throughout the day.
Previously
announced artists participating in Juno Fan Fare
include: Amanda Wilkinson, Divine Brown, Hedley, Hot Hot
Heat, Jully Black, Kalan Porter, Kardinal Offishall, Massari,
Nickelback, Shawn Desman, Silverstein, Theory of a Deadman and
Theresa Sokyrka. MapleNationwide recording artist
and TV host Sass Jordan and eTalk Daily Entertainment
Reporter Anna Cyzon will host the event.
Juno
Fan Fare is a free event with tickets available through
contests run by presenting sponsor McDonald’s and media
partners C100, CTV, and The Daily News. Contesting will run through
the month of March. To guarantee access to Juno Fan Fare,
winners must bring their tickets to Pavilion 21 at the Seawall
(near Pier 21) 1061 Marginal Road on Wednesday, March 29 at 7
p.m. (three days before the event) and exchange them for wristbands.
Only
those with a wristband will be guaranteed access to the event.
