Jully Black and the David Buchbinder Quintet (featuring Hilario Duran and Marc Rogers) added to JunoFest Line-Up

 

JunoFest, presented by Yahoo! Music Canada, has added two more acts to its diverse and acclaimed line-up. Both 2006 JUNO Awards nominees, R&B/soul artist Jully Black and the David Buchbinder Quintet (featuring fellow nominees Hilario Duran and Marc Rogers) will add new depth to an already exciting list of performances.

Previously announced acts confirmed to participate in JunoFest include: Air Traffic Control, Alpha Yaya Diallo, Amelia Curran & the Mercy Band, Andrew LeDrew, Blessed, Carmen Townsend & The Shakey Deal, Carl Henry, Classified, C’mon, Corb Lund, Dog Day, Dr. dFunkt, Elliott Brood, Eternia, Galore, Genticorum, Glamour Puss, Heavy Blinkers, Hey Rosetta!, Hot Toddy, Ian Janes, In-flight Safety, Inward Eye, Iron Giant, J.P. Cormier, Jah Beng, Jay Semko, Jill Barber, Jill Porter Band, Jimmy Swift Band, Jonas, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, King Konqueror, Lennie Gallant, Liz Band, Luke Doucet, Matt Mays & El Torpedo, Matthew Barber, Mark Bragg & The Black Wedding Band, MSTRKRFT, Museum Pieces, Nathan Wiley, Odel, Paul Reddick, The Perpetrators, Pilate, Rock Ranger, Ron Hynes, Ron Sexsmith, Sean Panting, Senaya, Silverstein, Sloan, Slowcoaster , Steven Bowers, Stabilo, Tanya Tagaq, The Barra MacNeils, The Novaks, The Self Conscious, Their Majesties, Tom Wilson, Tomi Swick, The True North Records Revue (featuring Colin Linden, Tom Wilson, Barney Bentall and more), Truths & Rights and Two Hours Traffic.

In other JunoFest news, there will be limited access for wristband holders to the following all ages shows: The Pavilion on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 and on Sunday, April 2 the Contemporary Christian music showcase will be at The Salvation Army Church.

JunoFest wristbands are $25 each. They are available online at www.ticketatlantic.com, by phone at the Ticket Atlantic Call Centre at (902) 451-1221, in person at participating Atlantic Superstore ticket outlets throughout HRM, Elmsdale and Truro or in person at the Ticket Atlantic Box Office at the Halifax Metro Centre Box Office located at 1800 Argyle Street.
