Records Revue Among Exciting List of Talent Added to
JunoFest Line-Up
JunoFest,
presented by Yahoo! Music Canada, has continued to add to its
already diverse and exciting line-up of acts that will be performing
at venues throughout Halifax during Juno Weekend.
Artists
who have been recently confirmed include the following 2006 JUNO
Award nominees: Toronto based reggae collective Blessed;
Jamaican born R&B/dancehall fusionist Carl Henry;
gold certified recording artist Jonas; internationally
renowned boogie-woogie piano player Kenny "Blues
Boss" Wayne; roots/reggae artist Odel;
Montreal based singer/songwriter Senaya; and
post hardcore act Silverstein.
Also
added are acclaimed melodic indie-pop group Dog Day;
Halifax based funk/pop act Dr. dFunkt; rock n'
roll wunderkinds Inward Eye; revered electro
infused rockers Jimmy Swift Band; The
True North Records Revue (featuring Colin Linden, Tom
Wilson, Barney Bentall and more) and up-and-coming Halifax indie-rockers
Their Majesties have also been added to the bill.

In
other JunoFest news, a limited number of wristband
holders (100) will be permitted access to the Broken Social
Scene and Bedouin Soundclash show at
the multi-purpose centre, Halifax Forum on Saturday, April 1st.
First come, first served.
JunoFest
wristbands are $25 each. They are available online at www.ticketatlantic.com,
by phone at the Ticket Atlantic Call Centre at (902) 451-1221,
in person at participating Atlantic Superstore ticket outlets
throughout HRM, Elmsdale and Truro or in person at the Ticket
Atlantic Box Office at the Halifax Metro Centre Box Office located
at 1800 Argyle Street. A JunoFest wristband entitles
the holder priority access to all JunoFest venues, subject to
